An intern (Jenny) that is using the Memorise Medicine website sent me an email asking about part 1 of the oral exam. I replied back with a link to pharmacy board information.

It is a bit of surprise not a lot of interns know that the pharmacy board has a ‘𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞) 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞’. In it you’ll find the format for each part and what they expect you to know. I advise all interns to read the whole thing. You can find it here:
https://www.pharmacyboard.gov.au/documents/default.aspx?record=WD11%2F5005&dbid=AP&chksum=YHgxxsEhm5jgv7wFeXfvVA%3D%3D
If you’re getting worried about the upcoming oral exam. You should be like Jenny:
Use 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦.𝘤𝘰𝘮. It contains 100s of electronic flashcards and study tips. And it’s 100% FREE.
And read ‘𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘖𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘹𝘢𝘮: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺.’ It’s filled exam strategies, study tips and practice exams. You’ll love the pharmacy practice oral exams based on the 4 Parts of the Intern Pharmacy Oral Exam.
There’s never enough practise questions for intern pharmacists. ‘𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘖𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘹𝘢𝘮: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺.’ has sixteen questions which are similar in structure to the problem solving and communication section all 4 Parts of the oral exam. They can be done in role-playing with your preceptor.
